Autonomous Underwater Vehicle

Our autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) or glider is another practical tool to conduct benthic habitat mapping, dredge plume mapping and water quality sampling. The glider floats underwater and has the ability to change its buoyancy in order to move both vertically and horizontally through the water column, capturing 3D data in real time. The AUV is piloted either remotely or a site location relaying from the AUV using satellite to the control center.
